VEA Road Maintenance & Civils invites tenderers from experienced EME/QSE subcontractors for Contract SANRAL N.002- 213-2019/1 Routine Road Maintenance of National Route N2 SECTION 21X KM 0.00 TO N2 SECTION 22X KM 29.60 AND N2 SECTION 22 KM 0.00 TO N2 SECTION 23 KM 44.78, IN THE HARRY GWALA AND UGU DISTRICT MUNICIPALITIES (on behalf

of VEA Road Maintenance & Civils in accordance with the requirements of The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL).

This project is in the province of KwaZulu – Natal and in the HARRY GWALA AND UGU DISTRICT MUNICIPALITIES. Preference is offered to prospective tenderers from the target areas, namely Harry Gwala and Ugu District Municipalities for the 1 & 2 CE packages.

Tenderer who satisfies the following criteria are eligible to submit tenders:

  1. At least 50% Black Owned
  2. Exempted Micro Enterprise (EME) or Qualifying Small Enterprises (QSE)
  3. Registered with the South African Revenue Service
  4. Registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
  5. Registered as “active” with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) for a CE class of construction work
  6. Compliant with the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases ACT (COIDA)
  7. B-BBEE Level 1-4
